I could be still affected by the coors from Friday and Saturday night so bare with me I think this is a thread worthy post. That crowd was one of the best crowds I've ever been in... in the second half. Yeah I know it's hard to be screaming you lungs out down by a few touchdowns. But it was amazing how much this team feeds off our fans. lets back this team by being LOUD. Every single game. Let's be known as the loudest stadium in the country. The second half of Florida was phenomenal. If we can bring that every game, opposing offenses will lose their ****. Go vols by god

I was impressed with the number of Dads who brought their children to the game. Just seemed like there were a lot of kids there. That is awesome in that this will be something these kids will never forget and will talk about for the next 40-50 years. Another generation of Orange Bloods.

Overall it was just a great crowd for even the young ones to be a part of. The second half was just a huge party and I loved it. Never gave so many high fives and hugs in my life.

I loved the fact that it was so loud at the end, Dobbs had to hush the crowd to snap the ball. That place was rocking. Wish I could have been there with everybody.

The recruits in the stands loved it.

“I loved every part of the visit,” said five-star linebacker Owen Pappoe. 247Sports ranks the Georgia product as the nation’s No. 2 recruit overall. “The part that stood out to me the most is how they handled the adversity coming into the second half with six straight three-and-outs and they put up 38 unanswered points.”

The Vols found their footing and cruised to an impressive 38-28 win. Preseason expectations of an SEC East Title and potential College Football Playoff appearance still intact.

“The game was crazy!,” Top247 2017 linebacker Jacob Phillips said. The in-state talent is considering the Vols, Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Oregon among others. “The fans were so into the game, I think that's what enabled them to come back.”

“It was UNBELIEVABLE!!!,” Top247 2017 defensive end Malik Herring text 247Sports.

Tennessee is the early favorite for the No. 1 ranked prospect in Indiana in offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor, who’s been to Knoxville many times already including Saturday.

“It was an electric atmosphere the crowd was amazing and the comeback just showed the never give up attitude of the program,” Ekiyor said.

One of Ohio’s best in Top247 2018 defensive end/outside linebacker Malik Vann was on campus. He holds an offer from Tennessee.

“Showing that no quit effort was amazing, to not get rattled because of a slow start and come out and put up 38 showed great teamwork and fan support because once Neyland started chanting and getting into it, it was over,” Vann said. “Neyland gets extremely loud and that atmosphere was great. The Neyland effect is REAL.”

Tennessee's top remaining target in 2017 in five-star offensive lineman Trey Smith, the No. 1 player in the state per 247Sports was back on campus. The Crystal Ball is all Vols for Smith.

I know the feeling. I took my 14 year old daughter to her first Bama game in 2006. That was the last time we beat them too. Now she is married and has her own child but still bleeds Tennessee Orange.

Her husband, an OSU fan, took her to a Ohio State game last year and she told him, "I'm sorry, but this ain't Neyland Stadium."

The game two years ago in neyland was rough. The last time tennessee beat Florida I was 8 years old. Needless to say it was awesome to see a win vs the gators.

This Florida game, and Oklahoma in 2015, were two of the loudest I can remember in forever. Georgia 2015 was loud too, not quite as feverish as OU or FLA but still loud. It's a bit of chicken and egg. Florida took the crowd out of it early, but they stayed in the stands and didn't let up once Tennessee showed signs of life. Glad to see the crowds at Neyland believing in the Vols like that again. It's been a long time.

I went to my first game in Neyland in 1978. I have been to most of the home games, and a ton of road games, since then. I can honestly say that I have never heard Neyland rock any louder than it rocked Saturday. The real impressive thing to me was that the fans brought it when we cut the score to 21-10, and they never let up.

Neyland just couldn't help but to cheer for these guys. They just don't give up. Not every team plays with passion as we did Saturday. You have to thank the coaching staff on that one. it would be so easy to just give up at the half. For example, I just don't see jalen tabor giving his all after being down 21 points. He'd pout the whole rest of the game. We have a good group of guys.
