UT, which is 1-3 on the road this year and eeked out a one point win over the hapless Commodores yesterday, goes to Lexington with more than the SECE and a trip to Atlanta on the line. Andre Woodson is a senior, with a chance to break the hearts of Volsfans everywhere in this border war.

We're eliminated. I ordered by Cap One tix two weeks ago. I know we're out of it, so let's not rely on that as justification for refusing to deal with the challenge ahead of UT.

You are still in first place in the SECE. I'm saying that I think that after next Saturday you end up third.

It must suck to be a Gator today... having nothing to talk about but Tebow's big game against.... whoever that was on your schedule yesterday.

actually I do agree with you, if Tennessee doesn't get off to a good start again, it's going to be very difficult for them to come back on the road. That being said, Tenn WILL come to play this game, they know what's ahead of them.

Tennessee had their letdown game yesterday. They'll extend the nation's longest active winning streak to 24 next Saturday.

That is what would concern me. When UT has been on the road and faced a double digit deficit, they've folded up like a cheap tent.

Painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage.:cray:

Nice to still have something to play for going into the last week of the season. Add that to the many reasons I'm glad not to be a gator.

All depends on which Tenn team shows up. I think they will be ready to punch their ticket in to the championship game.

Jog my memory, wasn't it Georgia who needed a last minute field goal to beat the Dores. After a God-given fumble? What does this mean. Absolutely NOTHING!! Just because a team plays like crap one week, it doesn't carry over.

UK has also been crap the past few weeks. They have folded up their gear and given up on the season. Does that mean that we are going to win? No, but I don't think this is the same UK team that was poised to make a run for the east earlier in the year. Either way, noone really knows what we will see Saturday.

O, and we're not in 1st place either. We haven't been in 1st all year. UGA still holds the lead because they are a .5 game up on us.

As far as common opponents, Kentucky didn't look much better against Vandy last week. Kentucky just lost to Georgia, a team Tennessee handled pretty easily. I think this game is even being played at Lexington, but there will be a lot of UT fans at the game. It's not far away.

I think Tennesse was looking ahead to the KY game. as much as they players and coaches say no it happens. It happend to OSU last week.. They said they would be prepared for Illinois but obviously they werent..
I wont say we will win but I think we will be better prepared..

It all depends which team shows up, if the team from the bama game shows, it will be a long day for us orange fans, but I believe the team that knocked UGA's teeth out will show and the streak will continue. onward bound to Atlanta i say!

Tennessee has the better football team. If UT and Kentucky play their best games, Tennessee will win.

Finally, a legitimate argument as to why you can be optimistic.

the only reason we need, to be optimistic, is we are one win away from the SECCG. we dont have to analyze it, its just a fact.
