The cancel culture is getting out of control

That's like saying if you go out and shoot a 59 at Augusta and you will have beaten Tiger Woods in 1997. You are a typical changer of history based on the prism of time and your 'morality'.

Were Washington and Jefferson slave owners? Yes. Who has changed history?

Ok . When the names Washington and Jefferson are spoken or read in the context of our nation’s history, is the order that you think of them “George Washington and Thomas Jefferson slave owners who also happened to be POTUS” or is it the other way around?

I already said I think of them as Presidents and founders of our country. However, you can't control what other people think and you should be old enough not to care.
.

Do you think news outlets would refer to Malcom X as a felon or a human rights activist?

They would ignore him today because he would be telling the public what he thought of liberals . He wouldn’t get the recognition today that he did then and his official twitter account would be full of BLM and white guilt police calling him an Uncle Tom . ( IMO )

Wasn't MLK a womanizer and cheated on Coretta multiple times? Do we now refer to him as that based on those actions. Seems appropriate.

How should I know?

BS. You just made the claim that it's the truth. Its factual regarding Mt. Rushmore. He spent 6.5 years in jail. Same applies here.

From the history Channel about his bio

As early as age 9, with his family in dire economic straits, Malcolm began robbing food from stores in Lansing. Later on, in Boston and New York, he got involved in drug dealing, gambling and prostitution rackets, spending much of his time in seedy nightclubs. At age 19, he was arrested for the first time for allegedly stealing and pawning his half-sister’s fur coat. A second arrest followed for allegedly mugging an acquaintance at gunpoint, and a third arrest came after he burglarized a series of Boston-area homes. Sentenced to state prison in 1946, his cellblock mates called him “Satan” for his habit of pacing around and muttering curses at God and the Bible.

I have a feeling this is what the other side wants. To provoke officers to the point of a violent response, therefore somehow validating their arguement to defund departments and have officers fired. If an escalation like this does occur, I'm guessing the political leaders will cave to the mob mentality and have those involved fired from their jobs and possibly facing criminal charges (depending upon the DA and their political stance).

Already happened.

How do you feel about abortions for those privileged people. The religious right wants to protect those baby makers. They don't care if they're employed or able to provide for them.
If you're going to judge us, do it right. We're also for abstinence before marriage, personal responsibility, familial responsibility, supporting your family, and volunteerism (personal charity to the needy).

They did! If they weren’t slave owners guess what? You would blame Britain for slavery but the reality is Africa sold their own people and still do it today. The fact anyone has to go back hundreds of years to make an excuse for their shortcomings is completely ignorant. Man up and make yourself a better life instead of blaming everyone else.

I think your second to last sentence is the most relevant. We are debating and arguing about something that is not impacting today's generation. That is how you know it is reaching. All people can do is use the tools available to make the best out of their lives. If you can dream it then you can strive for it. We need to teach optimism and hope instead of victimization and hopelessness. The issue is it doesn't fit with the narrative of politics.

We do need to, but why would America's one true party of racism ever decide to speak about blacks and minorities as anything other than helpless, less than whites weaklings? They get to abuse minority communities, keep their slaves just like the 1800s, and somehow it gets them free votes.

They went from chains and whips to abortion and welfare.

There are multiple reasons for this. They are the masters of deception.

First, they have to have a victim culture for the longevity of the party. That is what gives them a voting block.

Second, blacks are put into some key positions in the democratic party. Needless to say, those politicians fail the low income communities just as much as anyone else. Probably because they are focused on the wrong issue or root cause. It's hard to fix an issue if you don't work on the right problem. But what it does is make black voters feel like the democratic party cares, try harder than republicians and there is a place for them in the party.

Third, racial politics is easy to play and they entice people with free stuff. They play the race card for a bigger ideology. Some may believe the liberal message but they just see the world differently than conservatives including socialism, weak military, the unimportance of family, etc. They've honed their message over decades to win culturally and in academia. The entertainment industry is rooted in liberalism. Their system is designed to entice people this can be yours if you just vote democrat. Their policies tend to lead to adverse effects. People seem to forget the old saying nothing is for free.

Fourth, I'm not sure blacks realize the hispanic population is growing rapidly and once it's up to +30% then this power they seek will be a pipe dream. We've already seen that the Democrats have not had a single moderator from BET in their primary debates yet Univision or Telemundo moderators were invited twice. The culture has gone or is going from the 2nd most powerful base to 3rd. That is fine if it's organic immigration but to usher it in with artificial illegal immigration is puzzling. Culturally there continues to be positions taken to undermine the community including most illegals move into areas where the population is more black which leads to overcrowded schools, the potential for more crime and general lack of resources.

Jefferson raped a slave. Does everyone refer to that when Jefferson is mentioned?

Do we have any monuments of Islamic leaders in the US?

Yes

You were validating CNN and their statement of referring to the ex presidents as slave owners. If we're gonna be factual here and this is the new norm, it applies to everyone across the board. Stay on track here.
