For the record, I went to the University of Arizona and Georgia State, so my allegiance sides with them ;-)

That is some A+ trolling and as a UT/Braves fan it makes me very happy.

It does me as well. Going to miss games at the Ted but look forward to watching them at SunTrust field. You gotta keep things updated and state of the art so most stadiums outside of Wrigley and Fenway have a shelf time of 20 or so years. Just like them replacing the GA Dome. Hope to get to go to the TN/GA Tech game next year in the new dome.

I was at an event at the Gwinnett Arena when Charlie Daniels made a guest appearance. He played two or three songs and finished with Rocky Top. The Georgia crowd clapped and stomped their feet like it was their song. I don't u derstand why they don't get a proper fight song. Their song sounds like "I''ve been working on the railroad ". Odd.

Classic. :):):)

That reminds me of the time in 2004 when Minnesota beat Alabama in the Music City Bowl, and the Minnesota band played Rocky Top. :):):)

You checked the Braves organist's twitter?

The Braves organist is a great twitter follow. He chooses clever songs to play for the opposing players. Usually it's a play on words involving their names but sometimes it's a dig on a past transgression or something of the like.

Oh you mean this?

2004 Music City Bowl - Rocky Top

I remember watching that game live, hearing Rocky Top, and being confused for about 5 seconds before I saluted the TV. Oh how I laughed. I got an email about 10 minutes later from a friend - "Did you hear Rocky Top on the MCB game?" Oh man, how I laughed.

Also shares the chords with "I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves" Go Vols

The organist has played it 3 or 4 times during the 5-6 Braves games I've gone to. I'm not really so sure it's trolling as much as it's just being part of their repertoire.
