1. Okla State just beat the third top-10 team in 3 years. UT's record against top-10 teams is 0 and forever.
2. Louisville in his 2nd year is 8-1 and ranked in top 5.
3. Penn State (climbing from the cellar in all categories) beats #2 Ohio State and is sitting at 6-2 - ranked 24

I could go on.

Winning has a certain feel to it. When you're on a championship trajectory, the players, fans, media know it. UT is NOT on any trajectory for any type of championship - be it national, SEC or even eastern division.

This is what undisciplined, inconsistent, mediocre, middle-of-the-pack, hap-hazzard football looks like.

And this was "our" year....the year we've been waiting 10 years for. I remember in '14 when people kept saying "Mark your calendars, 2016 is our year". It is the year the bloom is off and we know where we are.

It's maddening watching a team 8 games in to year 4 look so lost on offense and undisciplined in so many facets of the game.

Not that it makes it a lot better but USC was in the top 10 a couple years ago when we beat them...

Yes yes and yes, this is not getting the program to the next level in the SEC. He is failing and he needs to hear that from Hart. We don't seem to be on his radar screens anymore.

Yep, Offense is awful and they are veterans. They have a few injuries but no more than normal on the offense.

If anything, with the injuries on D, we could be giving up 50 points per game. I believe Shoop is doing well for what he has left to work with.

Our Oline is God awful and always has been since Butch took over. Dobbs is Dobbs. It is what it is with him.

I wish we could go back to the Fulmer days with a line that could block with a Fullback and run the power game. That was Tennessee football at it's best.

I believe we have some talented Olinemen but Butch's scheme will not let them do what they may do best. Put a hand in the dirt and fire off the ball and blow some Dlineman off the LOS.

Kendrick is AwfuL... he makes Kerbyson look all world and he sucked as well

Yeah, we have some bads ones too. This playing on their heels sucks. It does not work. They need to be in the 3 technique except for obvious passing downs. Forget trying not to tip off the defense. Fire off the ball and open some holes.

The lack of discipline and stupid errors are the most galling things to me. Fumbles, interceptions , missed tackles , dropped passes, guys running downfield uncovered, worm-killing pass attempts, poor play selection, this game had everything in it to get a coach FIRED.
