I've been a huge vols fan since heath shuler hooked me in the early 90s. I'm from western New York and was one of only a handful of Tennessee fans in attendance when we beat Syracuse in Syracuse en route to the 98 national championship. I was also at the chic-fil-a kickoff classic when we beat up NC State.

One of my top bucket list items is happening this weekend as I am flying in for the game. I've never seen a game in Knoxville and am so excited for this game. I've seen them live twice and we are 2-0. Let's keep it going!

I'm flying in tomorrow night and can't wait to see what the atmosphere is like around Neyland.

This team doesn't quick. This team doesn't get tired. This team keeps going even when they feel finished. This team literally bleeds for all of volnation, risks their lives for volnation. This team plays for the coach they believe in, for the fans they believe in. I have never seen a team such as this, a team that is so gritty, that fights when they are laying on their back. Yet Some how they bounce up and come right back..... Saturday it's time!!! It's time to end this streak against Alabama. The odds are stacked against them in every possible way, but this team doesn't believe that, they know that they represent the orange, they represent you. This is the biggest battle of the past decade and a half for our vols. Let's do this for pat summit, let's do this for inky Johnson, let's do this for zaevion Dobson and others we have lost..... We can't let bama zap the energy out of neyland, I call out you fans to zap the energy out of the tide!!!!!! Time and time again you have done this, and we need it now more than ever. The Tennessee vols are about to walk into a battle, so let's help them win this war! No backing down. when the team gets down, we get up and get louder, we don't quit just like they won't quit!!!!! I am so proud of this team if we can bring like we have been and stop the turnovers then we got this. And this is a rush the field win game goal post should be in the river!:good!:

Travis Stephens, I presume? Thank you, Sir, for all that you gave on and off the field of play but my admiration of you extends to a time before your collegiate career. I am from Clarksville but attended CHS. I was zoned for Northeast the year it opened but was given a choice. Living in the 'boro when you were in high school I kept seeing newpaper articles mentioning this phenomenal running back out of Northeast and that team was punking opponents left and right. So, when the playoffs came and Northeast was slated to play Hillsboro I decided to check out this cat to see him for myself. Northeast faced a 3rd and long situation at one point. I think it was 3rd down and 12 to go for the first down. One guy sitting beside me told another guy, "They're going to sweep to Travis and he's going to get the first down." I recall thinking, "No way. You don't run the ball on 3rd and 12." It was exactly as the guy called it - a sweep to the left and you would not denied. I became a believer that night. I had to see more so I also attended the game against that entirely different animal called Brentwood Academy. No one was giving Northeast a shot. You lost that game but only by the slimmest of margins. BA knew it had been in a brawl. Of course, you then went to UT and what a pleasure to be able to see you run in all those games. Thank you, Sir. You are a man among boys.
