The best thing for Faison Is taking his lumps as they come:

1. Sacked 10 times last week
2. Benched this week

And you know what? HES STILL OUR GUY!!! The youngin just turned 18 back in June. I’m totally fine with his mishaps bc I know he has the work ethic to improve.

Remember while everyone was going to prom and taking vacations he stayed in Knoxville to get better. I love that. I say keep takin your lumps young man bc you have a BRIGHT FUTURE!!!

Edit: according to Basilio FB is banged up

He needs practice reps until the game slows down. It’s not the end of the world for him as long as he keeps his attitude right.

Absolutely agee. That game last week really messed him up and you could tell he isn’t seeing the field at all. Way late on that interception. Had to get him out of there. Haven’t seen all the game but Mac seems to be managing the game well.

Wasn’t he playing against the same defense as McEntire?

Faizon Brandon's future turns on whether he still feels Josh Heupel and Joey Halzle are the coaches he needs to train and develop him.

If he can be persuaded that another coach can develop him better than he has progressed at UT, he'll leave and I wouldn't argue with him.

If G-Mac starts the rest of the way this season, it's extremely unlikely Faizon will beat him out next year because of the in-game experience G-Mac will have.

My guess: he leaves if G-Mac starts from here out.
