Is that my mother, a self proclaimed Gator fan, contracted the Orange Fever. I don't know what it is about Neyland, but it seems you can't step in there without beconing a Vols fan. By the end of the game she was singing Rocky Top at the top of her lungs with me. Now that we're back in FL, she can't shut up about UT, I love it.

In the spirit of this, share any fan conversion stories you may have at UT. I'm interested to see what we get.

I have a friend that i have grown up with, he use to be a HUGE Florida fan. I asked him about 3 year's ago if he had ever been to a Tennessee game & he said " No, why would i want to go to a Tennessee game? " well it turned out a couple weeks later i had a extra ticket to the Air Force vs. Tennessee game. I asked him if we wanted to go considering it was free, he decided to go with me because he had nothing to do that night. Let's just say ever since that game, he has'nt shut up about Tennessee. He is a HUGE Tennessee fan now, he wear's atleast something with the Tennessee logo on it everyday. He goes to all the Tennessee athletic event's & just loves everything about Tennessee.

i was sitting by this woman (who who was supposedly a gator fan) a few years ago in the 2004 ut/florida game and she kept switching between ut and florida apparal depending on the score. needless to say by the end of the game she had ut gear on. some loyalty. gators are weak......

All due respect considering it's your mother, but all gator fans are bandwagon fans

Yeah... she doesn't pay any attention to sports, but when I first moved into her house, there was a Gator flag in the front yard. For her, it was more something that just came with the territory. Living here meant she automatically was a gator fan. Well, not anymore :)
