It's hard to place why his ERA and FIP have such a wide divide the last 2 seasons. HR rate is better than average. Elite BB rates. Great K rates. And an excellent WHIP.

Doesn't really add up to a combined 4.04 ERA since the start of 2024.

His mom and dad (and I think some extended family too) moved to Knoxville with him and lived in a condo. It's pure BS.

Even if that was true, it doesn't excuse how he left (missing practice and not talking to anyone).

this rotational is much better with Gray, last year, we would’ve been much better with Gray

I would agree that he is not worth anywhere near 40 million, despite his expected stats being significantly better than his actual stats.

25 million is close to the average range of a solid mid rotation pitcher with is track record in FA. We paid Morton 20 million and generally got a worse performance than this.
