The Atlanta Braves

I'm from/live in Chattanooga, not plugged in really in any way to inside information about HS football, and still heard all the stuff about his HS career here. It was interesting, to say the least.

He has the potential to be a great player but the day he committed figured, in one way or another, he wouldn't finish at Tennessee (transfer, kicked off team, etc.). I have no way of knowing of the latest rumors are true but I would not be shocked in the slightest if they were.
It's not a secret why he left CCS for I think it was Brainerd for what 3 or 4 months then finished up at Bradley Co. for his Senior year.

Boo went out to California over the weekend. His family and Cooper have been in talks but they haven’t fired their current agent to this point. Boo has to do the little things better. He can’t just go to Colorado at this juncture unless there is some deal I don’t know about. He isn’t a grad transfer. There is a path to him being on this team but he has burned some bridges with his teammates by not showing up and being late causing more running for others and such. It’s a complex deal but one Tennessee will eventually have to make a decision with.

Strider's last 8 starts:

48.2 IP, 2.77 ERA, 2.48 FIP, xFIP 2.93, 11.65 K/9, 1.07 WHIP

Stuff wise, Strider isn't quite back to previous levels. His FB is now very average compared to being elite before. But his change and his curve have improved pretty dramatically and both have rated as plus pitches on Stuff+ over his last 8 starts.

He may never get back to 2023 Strider, but this version is still pretty damn good. With these improvements, the rest of the league better hope he doesn't get his pre-injury fastball back, because he will be downright unhittable.
