The Atlanta Braves

For sure. I feel like he may walk away from golf before he really needs to though. Perhaps he could try baseball. The Braves need someone that can go long.
I hope he doesn't as a fan of the game, but if he does, good for him. I could see him getting the Career Grand Slam and walking away or something like that. As good as he's been the last few years, he's still got 2 majors left to win. He's already won a ton though...2 Masters, a PGA Championship, a FedEx Cup, multi-time POY, a Ryder Cup, a gold medal.

Assuming that what he's saying is genuine, which can be a tricky thing to do, he's one of the most grounded and normal-seeming professional athletes I've ever come across. It is kind of hard to believe though that he's as good at golf as he is but doesn't get some kind of deep fulfillment from it.

I’ve heard other athletes say similar things about winning championships. For example, AJ Brown was asked a question earlier this year about how he felt about winning a Superbowl. Don’t remember his exact wording, but his response was basically that the elation wears off in a couple of days then his mind turned to preparing for the next season.

I think he probably has a healthier life away from golf than Jordan had (or perhaps still doesn’t have) away from basketball.

I actually really like the draft. You never draft for current team need but I think there’s a decent chance Alex Lodise and Dixon Williams are your middle infielders in 2ish years.

Manfred: “I want a salary cap. Imma make the players union fold.”

Also Manfred: “Aw puhleeze don’t be mean to my poor lil umpires we can’t have abs they’ll get all mad. Their union is scary!”

Also that post August 1st deadline bullpen might be the worst we get in 20 years if they trade Johnson/Iglesias/Bummer lol.

Love mic-ing guys up. Best part of this by far, but leave the pitchers alone.
Yeah, I agree, mostly. But, Kershaw was awesome with it. He told everybody, what he was going throw and then threw it. My two favorite comments from Clayton, "I don't throw a cutter, Smoltzie", when Smoltz told him to throw a cutter for Strike three. Then when Kershaw went to the bench after Roberts pulled him, he told 'em on the bench, when he was dapping up his teammates, "Suck it, Big Dumper". Just classic, even the wife stopped, watched, loved it and said they should mic 'em up, all the time and she won't watch any sports with me, ever. She even fell in love with PCA, in a motherly way, I think, but either way, I'm a Cubs fan, so it's cool. But, you can't do pitchers, like you said, unless you gotta Kershaw-like personality. Only in all-star games, too. Don't need that sh!t for 162 regular season games

Murphy on the team August 1st, yes or no? I'm thinking confidently yes.

I hope not. He won't ever have as trade much value as he does right now. And with his injury history, he's at least, I would rather not take the chance of waiting till the off-season to trade him.
