This is absolutely hilarious. I haven't read the lawsuit, but according to the article the crux of his case is that what he was doing is legal under current NCAA rules.
Not only is that not true, even if it was "give me money because what I was doing was against the rules at the time but isn't now" is absolutely nuts.
