The gamewinning shot was more or less the theory of the case for Trae Young. He warps the floor. The pair of stepback long threes he'd just knocked down meant Pop had his guys rush over to double up and trap Young as soon as he got inside 35 feet, which resulted in getting Huerter a stupidly wide open look for the win.

On JD’s decision to choose Minnesota over Atlanta: “It was tough to make that decision, but ultimately it wasn't in the same realm financially."



JD is saying we didn’t offer him anything until late, like the day before so the reports were pretty far off. I’m not sure they were ever that serious about him to be honest. If they were they wouldn’t have waited until the day before to make him an offer.

JD clearly wanted to return. He almost seemed sad.
