Grissom could possibly be the shortstop in 2023 if the Braves do not re sign Swanson.

Jake Mastrionni on his Tuesday podcast also mentioned the Red Sox shortstop as a possible option and that Amthopoulos may not exceed a 5 year 75 million dollar free agent contract offer for Swanson because of other players like Fried who need to be extended.
