Georgia doesn't win their games because the other team is mentally beaten, although it doesn't help. Georgia beats other teams because they beat you to death with their 45 5 Star players.Yes, everyone that steps on the field with them is beaten mentally before the game starts.
Its the same game teams play every week, treat it like so.
Going 9-3 or better every year is not average and is really the best you can reasonably hope for outside of the extremely rare "everything falls perfectly" situation.
You can win 9 games and beat absolutely nobody.Going 9-3 or better every year is not average and is really the best you can reasonably hope for outside of the extremely rare "everything falls perfectly" situation.
TN has the capacity and resources to be much more than a 7 or 8 win program. You lost me. A subgroup of fans thinking UT is a perennial 8-4 or 7-5 program that should be happy with that has no bearing on the allocation of resources by an administration that publicly states the goal at the University of Tennessee is to win championships. CJH is Top 10 and Rick Barnes and Tony Vitello are Top 5 in HC compensation. They are being paid to win championships, top-down that is the expectation and they are onboard with it.
Literally on this page someone called 8 acceptable. No **** bro, no one in here thinks 7-5 or 8-4 consistently is acceptable.
If we win 8-10 games a year, have a fun offense and make a playoff appearances every 3 years, I am going to be happy. We are not going to replicate 95-98 and I’m tired of fans thinking that should be the norm.
