As written, you can kind of be led to believe that he's a GA off the street who never played football before or hasn't played in years, which isn't accurate. He did start last year, but only because it was a flukish Spring COVID schedule.

Nah it’s still wild to me that espn got duped like that…. Someone had to know something??? Plus wouldn’t you want IMG to play some sort of comp with ranked players and not a bunch of scrubs? Doesn’t add up to me

You would think so, but IMG played "Bishop Sycamore" last year too and beat them 50-0 or something like that. Just a total ball drop by ESPN all the way around; seems like they relied on Paragon to do 100% of their due diligence, or they were unable to ID some of the "prospects" on Bishop Sycamore and went ahead with the game anyway.
