A) If you took out the 5 second part where he didn't know how to pronounce Etherum, Bitcoin and blockchain I honestly don't think I would sound much different if you asked me to explain NFT'sI think my favorite part is “There’s strikeout number 5” as the batter is getting hit by the pitch

B) Don't know how that hit by pitch was awarded first base. That looked like a text book case of the batter purposefully putting his elbow pad in the zone and not trying to get out of the way.
That injury had major implications not just for the nfl, but also the college game. If Miami’s doctors had cleared Brees at his physical, he would’ve been a Dolphin and Saban wouldn’t have left for Bama.Drew Brees before a surgically repaired shoulder was an above average QB and then Sean Payton got a hold of him and turned him into a HOF.
People forget how good of a coach Payton actually is. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Jamies puts in the work that he would kick ass this season

It's possible that it still would not have worked out in Miami for Saban even if he had Brees, but if Brees went there I think it is highly likely Saban stays in Miami and didn't go back to college for the time being. Saban would have needed to bring in a creative offensive mind in order to have been successful there, but his OCs during his time in Miami were Scott Linehan and Mike Mularkey.I got a little bit of a take…while Saban wasnt highly successful at Miami he wasn’t bad. And the owner/GM wanted him to stay. Brees would have helped but I’m not sure Saban would have used Brees correctly (Payton was doing things that was never seen at the NFL level the first couple of years).
I truly think Saban wanted to go back to college more than anything. Even with more success I think he just did not like coaching NFL players and not having roster control.

Ultimately though I think you are dead on - Saban does not like and is not as good at coaching multi-millionaire athletes in their 20s and 30s and does not like having limited to no roster control. He's too much of a hardass, can't relate to players, and treats them more like college kids trying to make it than a professional.
Not only would he not have been Alabama's HC (at least in 2007), but it had gigantic implications for the Saints as a franchise. Katrina had happened the year before, there were relocation rumors, etc. and it is possible the Saints move if Brees didn't go there and ultimately help turn the franchise around. Extremely consequential decision in multiple ways.Yeah, I just don’t think his style was ever conducive to being an NFL head coach. He might not have been the Bama coach for sure with Brees but I’m thinking by 2010 he is back in the college ranks.
