This is why press conferences are dumb. Snit was obviously frustrated and just being honest. If he goes rah rah mode, fans hate him. If he tells it like it is, fans hate him because he’s losing.

The problem is it’s a continued pattern of being tough on Ronald - not standing up for him - and ignoring issues from other players.

Again, don’t run through a stop sign. That’s what this is about. I don’t like Snit but you can’t run through a stop sign and get pegged and not expect to get called out when asked. That’s part of why this team sucks so bad.

Basically, we just suck. Score 10 runs, give up 11. Give up one run, can’t score at all. Build a lead, pitching gives it back. Battle back from a deficit, pen blows it. Extra innings? We can’t do anything right.

He talked about everybody last night and then got led into Acuña and Minter by reporters’ questions. It wasn’t like he sat down and started killing RAJ. It just showed such a lack of awareness that it couldn’t be ignored.

That’s what happens when you screw up on a night when you get bailed out by a walkoff HR instead of getting thrown out in the 9th inning of a loss. He doesn’t hate Acuña. He’s just frustrated when he does Ronnie type things.

A good leader is consistent in his message and takes responsibility for how his team plays. Snit is not that.
