Lot of posts in here I’d like to address but short on time today
The thing that’s being overlooked is that Pache has real offensive skills. Asking him to figure it out at the ML level has a real chance of cramping his future offensive output. You can win now with him hitting .240 or whatever he’s gonna hit. But do you want to turn him into a lifetime .260 hitter because you handcuffed yourself to the only other option being Ender Inciarte? Just because he’s the best option doesn’t mean he’s a good option, most importantly for his own development.

This is what made nontendering Duvall so strange to me. It pretty much closed the door on RAJ going back to CF. Doubt they want to play extended innings with Riley and Ozuna in the corner outfield spots.Lot of posts in here I’d like to address but short on time today

I'm not sure what the obsession is with having offensive production at those particular positions. What if we had mashers at 3B and CF, but black holes at SS and 2B? Would that be OK, or would that be just as bad?Z you’re playing right into my overall point:
You aren’t beating the dudgers with Austin Riley and Pache. That’s all that matters.
