It's going to be interesting to see whether he hits enough to stay in the lineup and if he doesn't . . . how long until we get RAJ back in CF and they give Waters or Harris a shot. Really doubt they want to stick Riley or Ozuna in RF.

Even if Pache is an 80 wRC+ guy his defense and baserunning will still make him valuable. The key is going to be is how real was Bear’s 2020 and Ozzie/Dans being consistent for a whole year. Whatever Pache adds on offense is a bonus

This ain’t how it works anymore. The game ain’t about baserunning and defense aka small ball. I don’t care how good he is with a glove, if he hits like Ender, it’s a problem. He had a bad fall and bad spring, it’s very troubling. These problems usually don’t iron out once he starts facing god mode pitching

It’s not as big a deal if Dansby, Ozzie, TDA, and Bear all have career years and Freddie plays MVP ball. But I’m willing to be that’s not always gonna be the case. We need plate production and premier positions aka center and third.

Good value is still good value. Sure you can’t run 9 Pache’s out there but it’s okay to have a potential god like defender in a premium position like CF and find extreme value. Especially next year when the DH comes in and we can grab an extra bat

Well sure if he’s a 60 wRC+ then yes there’s problems but watching him against LA in the playoffs I don’t believe that’s going to happen.

The Rays were two wins away from winning the WS with Kevin Keirmaier and Manny Margot as their CF platoon.
