The Atlanta Braves

Folty starts this week or next.

Man F that dude, after giving up 100 runs in an elimination game he shows up to summer camp 10-20lbs underweight and can’t throw over 90mph and instead of taking ownership of that he acts like a little b***h and blames the organization. Hope he never pitches for the Braves again, but we know he’ll be our game 3 starter.

We value Pache so much that we call him up just for him to sit the bench for Ender because we were looking for offense, and we put potentially the best defensive CFer in LF in his only game action.

If you literally were not going to make any more moves why the **** do you get Milone? You might as well call up Wright, Newk and Touki and pray to the gods they figure it out then actually go give up something for Milone and be like “There’s our big move!”

Liberty which owns the Braves gives Anthopoulos a payroll to work with and my guess is that they won't stretch it very much in a short season.

Bauer and Lynn will be available as free agents in 2021 and a possible rotation of Fried, Hamels and Anderson will be solid in the play offs.

I agree. Hamels and Anderson have been fantastic this season in their six innings of work.

Imagine having a set. Also imagine wanting to do whatever it takes to win a WS.

AA is neither of those two.
It may not be an AA thing. He has bosses he's accountable to, and they might want him to sit on his hands.

The Braves are unique in that they ultimately have a bunch of corporate suits running the team. The Braves are just a component part of a big portfolio of media/entertainment assets they own. They aren't going to have a decision-making structure set up like an individual owner would.

I absolutely agree we whiffed hard on this deadline. However, I think it’s because of the team’s limitations in the IFA. Hard to trade away guys within the lower minors when there are no players there to replace and no chance to replace them for the next couple of years.
