The Atlanta Braves

If he lose service time appeal, he has two years. Don’t care about resigning him, window is open now.
Indeed. Many people just use it to label them cheap, but I respect the Braves’ stance on massive contracts. However, if they can’t get Bryant, they just might have to break their own rule. This is a tough spot they are in at the moment.

Yeah 2 years changes my mind. I was under the assumption he had 1. Window is open but we aren’t fully there tho. Bryant would go a long ways but really need a horse SP.

We just spent $18M on a SP and ~$50M on the bullpen for 2020. AA is signaling we are there or are going for broke getting there.

For two years, center the chips. I’m out on Mookie at 1

Per Rosenthal, the Nats are out on Rendon. Likely the Dodgers at this point I think. There’s already some talk of Turner moving to 1st.

I’d give up anyone but Pache for Bryant. Tired of losing in the playoffs. I want a game changing clean up hitter. And I wouldn’t be done, I would get a power hitting OF too.

Heyman says Pirates want a young controllable catcher for Marte. That’d be a perfect add and Bryant too.

Acuna
Ozzie
Freeman
Bryant
Marte
Nick
Catcher
Swanson

Let the record show Soroka gave up 1 run in 7 innings with less than 90 pitches in game 3 and the run he gave up was a 60 MPH opposite field double and then proceeded to get two straight outs. He’s that dude

Our rotation as it is now is not good enough to win a WS. Period.

But it can be in October of 2020 if one of the young guys step up and Fried continues to get better. Who, outside of Cole, would be a “big time” addition to the rotation? Ryu? Bumgarner? Resign Keuchel?

No on all fronts re: SP

That’s a HUGE if, did you watch Strassy and Mad Max lol? We can’t compete with that in a 7 game series. Make a trade, do something.
