Well, I just stopped by a Colorado State board for a little preemptive hatereading and it would not be a popular hire -- though not for the reason that you'd think! They're apparently all holding a grudge against Butch for showing no class and leaving the Colorado Buffaloes -- their rival! -- in the lurch when our job opened up. That's the objection.

As far as the actual coaching part, most seem to discount his time at Tennessee as probably just a case of overentitled crazy fans running off a probably decent coach (winning record, won some bowls, etc). Nobody seems to be objecting to his resume.
