I realized about 10 years after the fact that I was actually at the I-285 game where Perez was scratched because he was late as he kept circling the perimeter looking for the stadium.

Two mediocre teams will eat a banquet and then play a football game in a month and the team that feels like playing more that day will win. Can't disagree with this, I just expected that line to be a little bit more in our favor based on outside perception. Maybe I am overestimating how good we actually are, seems like both teams beat up primarily on cupcakes.

Unfortunately I think the general outside perception is that Tennessee’s bowl run is a nice story but we still fundamentally suck.

Only thing gonna change it is winning I guess. I also think the Georgia State loss polluted the perception of this whole season despite the turnaround.

Tom Allen was the DC at Lambuth when I was there with Freeze. Glad he is doing well but yes they will indeed see these hands
