The problem I have with the whole clutch thing is that nobody can define it. A guy can get a couple of late hits or a walkoff and suddenly he's considered "clutch" whether there's a stat that says so or not. I don't think an RBI in the 2nd inning is really different from one in the 8th. You just happen to notice the late one more.

Lot of sabermetrics guys have looked at that statistically and determined it was largely a myth (i.e., the ability of a player to consistently elevate his level of play in a "clutch" situation).

It is. Very rarely does a players outperform his offensive profile in those situations once you get a solid sample size of PA

I've been following LeBron's career since high school, I go where he goes. I've been a Duke Basketball fan since I was old enough to watch tv, all my cousins liked UNC and so I picked a different college basketball team also Zion grew up about 20-25 minutes from where I live.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Marte and Kela's name pop up with the Braves soon. Know the Braves have asked for some stuff on both of them from an analytics company and the Pirates have asked for the same on Braves prospects. Might lead to nothing as obviously this time of year lots of trade possibilities are looked into, just found it interesting that it had gotten to the point both were exploring it more.
