The Atlanta Braves

I know we have a tough stretch, but we have to take advantage of the Phillies schedule being tough as well.

Seeing some minor league stats and saw Travis Demeritte has an OPS over .900 and I’m thinking meh but he’s still just 24 years old.

If there's anything baseball needs it's another two dozen dudes who can't pitch getting regular work.

Agree. There’s barely enough pitching to go around as is.

Also, I might be the only one who thinks this: But an MLB team in Nashville could end up being a big failure. The city is right in the middle of two MLB markets (Braves and Cards) that basically consume the entire southeast, and have for quite some time. I could be totally wrong though, who knows.

Yep - and the Reds own a fair share of southern Kentucky and northeast Tennessee.

I’ve never understood Nashville being a market for baseball. Seems to make more sense to move the Grizzlies (if it ever came to that.)

I live 5 mins from there and while that’s great in theory, that’s already one of the most miserable traffic spots in the city right on the highway
The whole city is a miserable traffic spot lol. But in theory it wouldn’t be any worse than events at the stadium. But, yeah the splits there are horrible. Would be a sweet spot for a baseball stadium right on the river tho.

Didn't stop the Braves from moving to Cobb County, of course.

I have no idea where they'll put the inevitable two expansion franchises but of all the sports, you know that MLB will care the least about which cities make the most actual sense as opposed to naked owner cronyism. I assume Jeffrey Loria will get another team if he wants one.
