I really think he had as much natural talent as Griffey or ARod. He just never had the discipline.That was a fun year. His next year was just about as good. Then he just lost his swing, and never really recovered. If he could’ve laid of the outside breaking balls he possibly could’ve been enshrined.
I know. It sounds ridiculous, but it always felt like he could've been an even better hitter. Just never could stop chasing.Imagine being a 60+ win player and being considered disappointing. That’s kinda harsh lol
