Not even worried about the Scrubs (who may not win the division), but LA would be very tough.

I actually think Mil would be the next toughest with their pen and lineup

Guys, it’s the playoffs. Just making it isnt the goal. The goal is winning the whole bundle. Now, to do that, you’re eventually gonna have to play a good team. Doesn’t matter if it’s the opening round or the Series. Doesn’t. Matter. Just win baby. Plus, f a dudger.


I don’t hold them in high regard like some......

the goal is to (and stick with me) win the Series.

Losing in the Series and and the wildcard is ultimately the same in theory. It’s a Ricky Bobby world.

What’s our easiest path to win the World Series? That would be playing the Rockies with home field in the NLDS and the Cardinals with home field in the NLCS. Then play the Indians with home field in the World Series. I don’t care about “beating the best” or “don’t be scared” I want to win it all. And the best way to do that is play the teams that are still good but not as good as other teams. That gives us our best chance. So give me that road over anything else.

To clarify, what I am really saying is, I think this team can beat anyone in the NL. So it’s moot to me.


But it would be sweet to destroy the dudgers because I just really don’t like them. Did that’s a lot of it.

I want to play the Rockies because I think they suck the most and it would mean the dudgers don’t even make the dance.

The cardinals suck second most but I don’t want to play them on the off chance we lose because I can not tolerate the cardinals. I don’t even want to see them on my television screen.

I am not concerned with the brewers at all, but they do suck less than the Rockies and cardinals.

I do agree with your first point. That 2013 team was flawed and I never felt confident we could get to the WS. This team has flaws too but every position has a solid player on offense and defense. The starting 3 is good. We have plenty of options for our fourth starter. I feel good about Brach/Venters/Viz/Minter. Bench is decent. The NL isn’t really strong.
