I can see it both ways. It’d been nice to have one of them available for game 2, but you also have to win the game in front of you. Still have Yates, Minter and Matzek for the end of game 2.

You just can’t predict what the end of Game 2 will look like. Win this one now and worry about that later. Raisel could go again

My take is split them. I dont trust using Yates. But I like splitting Minter and Matzek as well.

Much better than he has. Controlled everything well, mixed his pitches. Lost his fastball velocity a bit and stopped throwing it as much, but got whiffs on his secondaries.

Man I’m just realizing how good freeman is, after he is gone, his numbers since the start of 2020 are absolutely stupid. Glad we got one with him last year. Matt is a winning player, he is pretty damn good to have follow Freddie. Which is an incredible tough task.
