I merely pointed out THE FACT that our pass catchers aren’t actually any good. Something I said before the season, with zero context or inclination or judgment to quarterback play, and was scoffed at. Just wait until the combine, they said. The NFL register will ring, they said. Pass catchers being held back, they said.

When you combine (PUN INTENDED) the hilarious combine numbers with the fact that they can’t actually catch a cold or run a route, I do (unfortunately) have to point out being right.

Surely I’m overlooking someone, but I can’t remember a receiver being able to create separation since David Ricky and JHunt off the top of my head.

He’s fast enough to be fine if he put anything at all on tape the last four years. At 4.55 you can find other productive WRs.

It’s not like he goose egged and then ran a 4.35 at the combine to raise eyebrows

You’re definitely right that he’s in the dime a dozen category. He needs a good pro day.

I can’t explain how incredible it was 2 years ago to have seats right above the tarp behind 3rd base and be on eye level behind Camargo when he turned loose a throw. However good you think his arm is, it’s better than you think.

I really wonder if he will be able to get off the line once an NFL corner puts hands on him. One of the problems the last 2 years is Callaway has trouble with the jam and JJ beats press but can’t run away from anybody.
