Was excited when we hired him because, while I don’t think he’s a national championship coach, I thought he would fit in well with the program. And knowing the expectations here aren’t like they are at Texas, he might be rejuvenated without having to work with the rope around his neck.

He’s exceeded my expectations but, I’m scared of this team losing in the Sweet 16 or something and the fanbase starts to turn on him a bit.

I've seen people say we don't need those 5-star look at me players. That all we need is guys that can be developed & coached up like our current team.

However if we are going to stay with the Elites we have to have those high rated 4 & 5 Star guys. Just the way it is.

I honestly don’t even know how many recruits there are each year that would even fit this description but James this year feels like the absolute prototype guy Barnes and the UT program need to go after. Still considered a five star talent but also thought of as at least a 2 year guy.

Yeah James will need to work on the jumper but he’s a great passer/athlete/defender. Can play three positions.
