The Atlanta Braves

Craziest pennant race ever. Stadium almost burned down and then the Giants played .600 baseball after the deadline with a 9 game lead . . . and got caught!?!

How stupid was it that the Braves had to play in the west division while the cardinals played in the east for 30 years

It was dumb and everybody knew it, but the geography of MLB was tougher back then. Never understood why they didn't just realign put all the Cali teams and Seattle into a division and stick Atlanta and Cinncinati in the AL West.

Castilla’s OPS+ during his two year stint was 79 and WAR was .8 so great job there by Johnny Boy

I honestly don’t know what’s funnier:

Castilla’s OPS dropping from .809 to .562 when he went from Colorado to Tampa Bay or that his 2000 OPS of .809 was considered 16% below league average playing half his games at Coors πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
