I don't think there's ever been a shutdown when everybody didn't eventually get paid. There was no chance that back pay wasn't coming.

Oh, absolutely, I never thought they wouldn't get the back pay. I just was making a point that I didn't think all should.

I don't like the guy, but doesn't something built around one of our catchers for David price make some sense?

How do you turn down viewing wil Myers and Evan Gattis daily hr derby?

Not trying to be a dick but I'm not sure Gattis has much if any trade value. Especially as an everyday catcher.

Pretty sure a ****ty starter, a below average first baseman, and a below average catcher are the going rate for frontline starters, no?

Come on now. David Price at this point in his career is head and shoulders above where Latos was when we traded for him. Price has a Cy Young under his belt for God's sake. He's also pitched in probably the best hitting division overall his whole career and has still dominated.

But I obviously cannot ignore how good that trade appears to have worked out for us thus far.
