My stomach feels sick, and it's only monday. The feeling that I get when I realize, it's Florida week. It's here. Walking out of Neyland last year with a 10-9 loss, and how sick I was on the drive home. The last 10 years. 10 YEARS.

Everything Orange about me. My Blood. My decorated office at home. My Flag that flies in the front yard. My Truck Tag. My Wardrobe - My sunglasses. Hat. Shoes. Jersey. The Magnets on my car, and my Harley. Everything Orange. About Me.

All of that seems to be at stake.

Just the thought of it happening again. Not even considering how the players and coaches will feel. I'm just thinking about the Volunteer families all across the nation: In the Stadium. In their Livingrooms. In the Sportsbars. In the Garages, with the TV going - volume wide open. 10 YEARS

If we win this game, the Fall Colors look brighter. The leaves. The Mountains. Tennessee. The air will smell fresh again.

But if we lose? Again?

Then what?

Dull your pain with massive amounts of opiates and alcohol.

...but never consume them simultaneously, that's dangerous.

For me. I go ride motorcycles.

For others.....I believe Jack Daniels helps.

I stopped watching this game, for the most part, years ago. Too much bad football, too much angst. Losing to a rival every year is humiliating: When it comes to florida and bama, we've learned what it's like to be Vanderbilt. But, yes, THIS YEAR will be different!

Don't take it too seriously. Win or lose, you have to go to work Monday (or whenever your work week begins).

Its not

I think there's an APP for that.

Can't be any worse than last year. I partially still haven't gotten over last year's game.

I have to agree with everything John Bryce just said on the radio.... This is the biggest game of Butch's career. If we lose then EVERYONE will pretty much start to doubt him.

Take some pep to, its going to be ok

Good advice. Bad as it is, think how bad KY feels, but then, they are probably pretty immune to it by now--expected. I would like to think we have turned the corner this year but I'm not as confident as I was preseason for sure. I think we have the players this year but are we going to become one-dimensional because we're not going to have a reliable pass game? Held back because of a stubborn coaching staff, unable or unwilling to adapt? Barring turnovers, I think the coaching of this game will tell us a lot about the rest of the season. Are they going to become timid & conservative if we get a lead, are they able to make adjustments?

The doubt flooded in after whatever happened with OU...
