Nope, at 26 weeks I would do all within my power to convince her to keep it.Here's a hypothetical Luther. Your daughter comes to you 26 weeks pregnant with your grandchild, thus far a perfectly healthy fetus, and says, "Dad, I want an abortion." Keep in mind, at 26 weeks, the baby has a chance to live outside the womb. You good with her decision? Early term abortion is one thing, late term abortion another. This isn't a typical pro-life/pro-choice discussion IMO.
Now on the other hand, if she told me the doctor informed her (and she got a second and third opinion) that she had a condition that put her at 80% risk of dying if she continued her pregnancy, I would fight with every ounce of my being for her right to abort the fetus.
Also, if she came to me in devastation that something had gone wrong with her pregnancy and multiple doctors had told her that the fetus was not developing normally and would be a vegetable with no quality of life, I would fully support my daughter in whatever decision she made and would fight for her right to make that decision.
