With Lane revealing that not ONE but TWO QB's are coming in at mid-term, and fingers pointing towards a Matt Simms signing, we officially have a race for this upcoming Spring Practice to see who will be the starter next season. At one point it was said that Stephens is a lock but with this revelation, I say all bets are off.

We still have the Chick-Fil A Bowl to go and we already have a story to kick off the offseason.

Looks like 2010 is gonna be one heck of another ride.

What do you think about this developing story?

Who said Stephens is a lock. IMO he is the dark horse.

The name Matt Simms brings to mind a crybaby QB from Louisville that left because he was not named as the starter. Please tell me this is not the same guy! Reminds me too much of Branndon Stewart and the drama he brought with him!

Bray is 6'6" and 159 lbs. Since the current USC QB was called the greatest in the past 10 years and he led USC to a #6 in the Pac 10 what will the bone with offers from San Diego and Fresno do? Sims??? Please  That 5'6" JUCO kid that turned down one of the Dakota States to come and that is your class. Hey Tajh, we are sorry. Please come back :cray:

He's 6' 6", 185 as listed. But I've heard that he's at least 200 now, and will probably be at 225 after Ausmus is done with him.

Thanks for playing, but we're not nearly as uninformed as you. Troll...

This will be a story all off-season. Even after NSD and we know who all the QBs are competing for the job, CLK won't announce until about 3 weeks before our 1st game.

Whoever it is, I have confidence they will be SEC ready after watchin JC's transformation.

Do you think at all before you type? Or are your fingers working autonomously? Please, please be the latter.

Nick Stephens....how can someone make a thread with a poll and not even know the guy's name? Sigh...

Kiffin may do what he did to Poole and others and basically screw Stephens over and not give him a fair shake for the sake of recruiting and such. I don't have a problem with that because I just want to win and prepare for the next 3 years. 2010 is going to be the true rebuilding year anyway. That schedule is brutal.

Bray is 6'6" and 159lbs??? I don't think so, he looks skinny in his pictures but not 159lbs skinny...

Stephens is a big, strong kid with a canon arm, and he should know the system by now. I would like to think that he will start, and that our passing game will considerably better at the start of next year than it was at the start of this year, when it cost us two games. It's crucial that we have a passing game to start the year--not one that kicks in in game five.

When you can't win an argument, make up stuff. Always the way to go.
