I keep reading on here about how optimistic you folks are for Ainge and the running game, etc., and how much Florida is going to stink up the joint with no Chris Leak, an overrated Tim Tebow, and our entire defense from last year in the NFL.

Time to put your something where your mouth is.

I am willing to make a creative wager with someone on here based on the outcome of the 2007 contest. Straight up winner takes all. But let's not make it for money, let's make it for pride.

Despite rampant conjecture, I do not in fact own a pair of "jorts." But, I'll go get a pair and if the Gators lose, I'll put them on, snap a photo, and that will be my avatar for a month following the game.

If someone can come up with a fair counter to that bet from your side, let's put it on the line!!! But remember, it has to be good. Time to see just how confident you guys are.

A-ha! Not so cocky now, huh? Where's all the folks who have so bravely been predicting an easy UT win in the Swamp this year?

I'll do it with you. Except your "jort" avatar will last until Florida beats Tennessee again.

So, let's say UT wins the toss up game in September 2007, and Tennessee wins in Knoxville in 2008, you still have the jort avatar.

I think a year of any avatar (except the one I have now) may be too much. But I'd go until the BCS NT game if the right counter offer were made.

I'm predicting a UT win, and I'll take your bet. I'd just like to wait until a little closer to the frenzy of college f-ball before I figure out how much pride I'm willing to wager.

Isn't it kind of ironic the Volnation board has a fight going on between a Bama fan and a Gator fan?I guess it shows how much better this board really is compared to rival boards.:eek:k:
