Bama1 is done. I can't take it anymore either GIVEHIM-6. I probably let it go on longer than I should have. I guess I was just bored. Anyway, he has been banned.

The true value of Freedom of Speech isn't the freedom part.

It's how it encourages jerk-offs to stand up and publically advertise themselves so you know who they are, how it encourages jerk-offs to collect themselves together so you know who THEY are, and how it lets you feel superiour with perfect humility because all you did was listen to them advertise their dumbass-ininity.

Don't ban Bama1, encourage him.

Unless, of course, you're a closet Bama fan, and you hate the way he's making all Tide fans look like morons by association.

Personally, I think Bama1 is good for the board. If you want to encourage other SEC fans to post here, then you have to expect the crap to come with them.

6-er, you can't go. You know a bammer has no chance against any of us. :D

I really don't mind other teams fans coming on and talking about the team but I just can't stand for every thread to turn into a UT BAMA, Gallion, Finebaum, bla bla bla


I used to visit another board that this happened to. Now 8 out of 10 posts are related to that.

Heck, Freak. You gave Bama1 a LOT more chances than the SC board gave ME before banning me. And all I did on there was tell the TRUTH!!

I agree. Half the fun is reading posts from opposing teams' fans - no matter how moronic they might be. Some people just take it a little too seriously.

Don't worry about 6. He threatened to leave last week too.

The complaint about perverting threads IS pretty valid...


I&#39;ve hit a lot of different sports and teams&#39; boards over the last .9 decades, and one of the most common things that happens on a single-team-fixated bbs is "outsiders" blitzing the board with, "I&#39;m cool and you&#39;re not" posts. They don&#39;t have a thing to say except, "I&#39;m cool and you&#39;re not", so they invade every thread they can and hijack all the topics, effectively shutting the bbs down.


We do want fans of other teams. Bamas1 was also relatively clever for a Tide-fan even if he did act like a vandal.


Could we give him/her/ it a last-chance invite back on the understanding that insults weren&#39;t the problem, it was the lack of style that annoyed us- especially since s/he/it showed signs of knowing better?

I never disappeared,I was in the arcade rooms.You know what I think is that it was you or Lady ,but imma guessin it was Lady being Bama1,you said that when you left on your trip she would need someone to pick on.

You may want fans from other schools. In fact, it makes things more interesting. You don&#39;t need people who are here just to stir the pot and start arguments, etc, as those bama guys were doing.

Bama Slayer, you hit it on the head. I love to talk to fans of other schools, even rib each other a little bit. I like to engage in meaningful conversation with other football fans, because they may be able to give me a persepctive I had not looked at. But if the only reason for being on here is to pick a fight, this is not your board.

I agree, I would love to have fans from other schools get on here and intelligently talk about their programs, but I just can&#39;t handle it when all the namecalling, etc. starts.

I never would have come in here if I knew in advance that the :bs: was going to be going on in here.I came to enjoy being among die-hard Tennessee Vols football fans.

Trust me, those guys were nothing compared to the trash that visit some other UT boards. It&#39;s all part of the internet game.
