that horrible loud music

I can usually handle the music being loud but not if it’s all static and sounds like a speaker is blown.
They were distorting and sounded like they were being pushed past their limits... and that they needed twice the number of speakers with lower volume.... it wasn't the music that aggravated me.... it was the sound

From an old person, old woman at that:

1. I like loud music. I've lost a significant amount of hearing from loud music and count it mostly worth the loss.
2. I'm pretty tolerant of music I don't normally listen to. Chacun a son gout.
3. Music played loudly over a craptastic sound system isn't good. It's the 21st century, people. Upgrade your damn sound system.
4. Music played loudly over a craptastic sound system with lyrics that get explicit about sexual acts (I noticed that the posts with more detail were removed) doesn't belong at a football game. Save it for the clubs.

Go Vols and party on.

That's usually the problem. I sat next to a speaker in Neyland a couple of years ago and the sound was so bad that I wished I was deaf by kickoff.

Considering the volume level used by your generation vs earlier, you should hope you can hear anything at our age. And your music really does suck ... a shame to waste your ears on garbage.

Pretty sure it was more than 40 years ago someone first said "If it's too lout, you're too old". So which generation are you talking about?

If it has come to playing rap music over the stadium sound system, let it be uncensored Li'l Wayne.

The Vandy deal seemed to be just one speaker that was set up on the ground over by Section A.

The volume was loud but ok. Music was fair, just needed to play the version that has the cuss words eliminated.

To give them credit, I think all the music played during the game was clean. The song they played when # 58 got ejected was funny.

In the pre-game warmups, just need to clean it up a bit for the kids.
