All the bad stuff we didn't see last week. Vols better improve or kiss a bowl goodbye. Vandy is awful.

I agree with pretty much every bit of this. But make no mistake, Vandy's defense came to play tonight. That was evident.

They had all that crap happen and still got the W. They were able to face adversity and hold on for the win. Do they need to make improvements before next week? Most definitely, but this game showed that they've gotten tougher mentally; they did not quit. That couldn't be said earlier in the season. Let's just hope they build on it.

The only thing that saved us tonight was Vandy and Janzen Jackson. Poole finally got some blocking on that last TD. After such an awful second half, that was sweet. Great call by Chaney.

Look kids ... we went up 14-0 and the team basically said it's Vandy we've won and stopped playing well. Bray was on fire and very accurate until we went up by 14. It was then that the whole team lost focus and began playing like crap. That is on the coaches.

Probably---but what is on the coaches is subbing Oku for Poole in the first quarter with a chance to go up 21, and Oku getting stuffed on third and one after falling short of the first down on the previous play. PUT THE GAME AWAY------Then start subbing! Momentum was lost right there.

next week will be different. Everyone knows what is on the line. yall will see a different football team than tonight. It wont be easy but dont expect it to be just another kentucky game come next saturday.

I thought it was a good win for you guys. It was sloppy at times, but it was never in doubt. It was also a game that earlier in the year you probably would have lost, but the players are gaining confidence and prevailed even when not playing their best.

I think it will give Dooley more to work with for next week. He can show them that not playing their best will get them beat against UK. So I'm sure he
will have them ready. Plus it's at Neyland and it's UK. UT is in their head and it will stay that way this year.

Congrats on the win. It's been a strong finish to the year.
