For pouring your heart and soul into this program. You have sacrificed your health and your family, and we appreciate it. We look forward to even brighter days ahead, which wouldn't be possible without the blood, sweat, and tears you have invested. Here's hoping you can get a little rest and sharpen your ax before giving everything for a bowl win and a great finish to the recruiting season. Here's to you, sir. :hi: :good!: GBO!

They could have folded, but credit the coaches and the team for staying tough and giving us a great second half of the season! I see a bright future for the VN family next year.

What is wrong with Butch's health? What are you talking of?

He said in his last presser that him and his wife looked at a picture from when he got hired and now. He said the sec takes alot of hard work. I think the question was along the lines of how much harder is it coaching in the SEC than in any other conference.

Thanks coach. Now go get us a great qb coach

THANKS to buTch and all our coaches!

Without their endless work recruiting our footVol team wouldn't be as good as we are already.

The way our freshmen and sophs have played so well these last 2 seasons is proof that our coaches can make a fair player good and a good player great in a short amount of time.

Les Miles may get fired at LSU because so many people now see that program headed straight down.

There's no doubt that our Tennessee footVol program is headed straight up and getting better fast.

I just hope our recruiting stays top notch so our upward trend continues for many years to come.

I think all teams ---------- have "fickle" fans. Part of the territory.

FYP, have you seen Vandy's board? It's a dumpster fire of epic proportions.

The best part about it is that they play completely into their own stereotype. They truly believe they are the smartest, richest, and best educated ppl in the state. "Vawls" is a word they use a lot. It's sad how apathetic we are compared to how much they hate us.

The richest team being the worst is also in the nfl, as the Cowboys are garbage too.

Not so much on the smart part

Seriously? The man is getting paid $4mm a year and you act like he is making a sacrifice for Tennessee?

How about thanking the young men who actually do sacrifice their health and well being only to end up with a middle class life (if they are lucky) and 40 to 50 years of joint pain, back pain and P.C.S.

Thank you to the true Volunteers.....not the mercenaries here collecting a paycheck.

Point taken, but the players choose to play. Id do it for free, if I could. Simply love the game that much. These kids are living, what most can only dream of and getting a free education along the way. And if they don't take advantage of that education to rise above middle class standards, that's on them. most are comfortable with middle class. It's Even a step up for a lot of them.

I've been very critical of Jones this year with how the first half of the season played out. The team could've laid down and struggled to get to a bowl once again, but Jones didn't let it happen. We finished on a VERY strong note and I'll give credit to him for that. Let's get this bowl win and make some noise in '16 coach.

A 4M package makes everything good. I'd pick elephant shi* up all day long for that kind of paycheck.

You'd have the far easier job, doing that.

Leadership is hard work. Wears on you like nothing else. Impossible to explain, but all who have led for a living understand.

Now, for $4M, heck yeah, me too. Aren't too many (legal & ethical) jobs I'd say no to for a $4M /year paycheck. :)
