Thanks for bringing relevant football back to Knoxville! As fans, that is all we can really ask. In life, there are always tough defeats, however, relevant football gives you:
1. Giving your all (maximum effort)
2. Competing at the highest level (Top 25)
3. Making the other team earn it (4 quarters)
4. Great leadership (not blaming individuals)
5. Learning from mistakes (pass defense vs. BG)
While defeats are tough, I woke up this morning with a pride for Tennessee football that I haven't felt in years. Relevant football doesn't mean no losses, there will always be more in the future, but props to the coaching staff and Team 119 for making this the first relevant loss since the Fulmer era. I can't wait to watch more!

Omg....Thanks Butch ? We are not allowed to blame coaches for loosing but its OK to thank them ? Yep mom was right ...the world has gone crazy

There is no such thing as a relevant loss. We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. This is one of worst meltdowns ive seen in my decades as Vol fan.

We had the game. Okie coaching scheme adjusted in the second half, Tennessee did not. Learn from that.

Players played well. Yes we have talent. Yes we have the fight. But revelance comes from winning these games. We ain't out of it yet but the coaches lack of ability to adjust is not looking good.

1. Typical post modern, bleeding heart garbage.
2. Probably not after the loss
3. Going three and out the whole second half helped OU a lot too.
4. Disagree. Leaders are accountable and adapt.
5. I laughed out loud! same guy from VU 13 and UF 14.

I woke up this morning the same way I went to bed. Ticked off.
