Great job on keeping the bar high and not giving up on the season like you could have after the Bama game. I LOVE my UT Vols and I want to say you had a great run at the SEC and I believe we can get back next year as long as we prepare like we did the second half of the season this year. I am mad about things, but we played our hearts out and we deserved to be there not matter what any of the experts say. Our defense played lights out and held LSU to its LOWEST point total of the season and held them to only ONE offensive TD for the game. Congrats Vols, and good luck in the Outback or Peach Bowl. :hi:

Yeah, thanks CPF and staff for not being able to beat a team with a second string QB and the top defensive player out.

Exactly, I knew we were behind the 8 ball as far as athletes but being in the dome and seeing the speed of LSU, we've got a long long way to go...

Recruiting needs to step up. Lsu had alot more athletes on the field tonight and it showed up again. Just like last year.

Did you watch the game? We were out manned all over the field. They were completely banged up, had their second string qb playing and still beat us...

Did you watch the game? They looked completely outclassed for most of the game, at least when it comes to their offense v. our defense.

Are you kidding? I was there, are you trying to tell me we had the same caliber of athletes as they did?

He didn't say anything about atheletes. LSU does have more, but speed had nothing to do with the final score of the game.

Are you trying to tell me that our defense did not look great tonight? The defense was the only reason we were in that game.

They had 270 yards of offense in the first half and over 425+ for the game with their second string qb for gods sake!!!!

Did you happen to look at the time of possession stats? Or perhaps the offensive points they put on the board? It's not the defense's fault that the offense looked like they belonged in the Sun Belt and couldn't stay on the field.

Please look at the offenseive stats they put up for the game...

I agree, our defense bent but did not break but the fact that they ran up and down on us without the first string qb tells me all I need to know about where we are...

I'll agree with our offense not helping them out in the first half...especially after we scored on our first drive...

You are the one talking about athletes then bringing in this second-string quarterback crap. Tell me, who is a better athlete between LSU's top two quarterbacks.

Bottom line, when you let a team hold the ball for 21 minutes in the first half, and 36 minutes for the game, they are bound to pick up some yardage. Yardage, however, is not what matters, points are.

Their second string QB would have probably ended up starting had Flynn not been there. RP is a good QB and will be a force next season in the West.

You guys have your opinions and I have mine, I am just as unhappy as you and everyone else are.

I was there, to me, we were completely outmanned all over the field, however we played with tremendous heart just like we did all year. Tonight it wasn't enough...
