I really hate the way this clown carries himself! I am so thankful for the class of our coaching staff. I think it's a requirement for all Florida coaches to be a prick.(why Ron Zook got fired so fast) So that being said THANK YOU MUSTCHUMP FOR NOT TAKING OUR HEAD COACHING JOB!!! GBO!! VFL!!!

No. Nick Saban isn't a classless #ssbag and neither was Pete Carol . They are doing/did just fine .

At the end of the day we still loss. You look at Florida's OC & DC compared to ours and they'll be racking up victories every year. Muschamps rabid behavior is miniscue at this point. Scoreboard folks, time to move on to the October schedule.

I just don't get it. I know your here all the time but why? Seriously why do you spend so much time on a Tennessee board? I think your like most Florida fans and just want attention. If your a Florida fan go to a UF board and talk about Florida.

I can't imagine why any player/recruit would want to play for a coach like Muschamp. Nobody would want to be treated like he's prone to do, screaming at the top of his lungs. I bet their talent level drops because of this. Muschamp isn't a players coach.

The way he acted going to the locker room at halftime reminded me of a spoiled, whiny little brat that needs his @$$ busted. I would honestly be embarrassed to be a Florida fan after that....win or lose.

I am a huge fan of our coaches and players on and off the field. Its just going to take some time to get the right people doing the right things in the game.

Do I think Muschamp went a little too far at times barking at officials? Probably.
If Muschamp was the coach at UT and did the same thing, would I/we love it? Definitely.
We loved when Kiffin was a snarky little ***** when he was wearing orange, but now we can't stand his antics.
It's all about perspective people.

You dont think his players take it that he BOOMS on the refs to back them up? You're out of your mind. He has his players backs, and they know it...

Generally, I don't have an issue with a coach going off on an official if he has a legitimate reason to do so. Not only that, it would have to be clearly legitimate from the sidelines, which it almost never is.

Also, most officials despise being shown up more than anything. That whole halftime thing was ridiculous on Muschamp's part.

Fulmer was a players' coach and look what happened to UT's talent level.....

100 % correct. People saying they are glad he turned UT down are either self-delusional or just full of Shiite. Maybe both. If he was coach here you'd be so happy you had one with fire in his gut.

Not sure how you can't throw Pete Carol into the d-bag category. He left USC right as the ship was sinking and the NCAA started poking around. He didn't stick around for the scholarship losses and bowl probation.

I think (as in my opinion) you are wrong to a large degree...Muschamp did not represent well last night as a leader...he will appeal to the thugs out there, but a large portion of that fan base will grow tired of his ranting...and from what I saw, Act 1 was not impressive.

Given time...you too will see it.

He is the definition of a players' coach. His former players at Texas, AU an LSU would disagree with this post.

While this may be true(the praise part), I don't think CWM could completely rebuild a program in shambles as CDD is in the process of doing. If CWM would have had to endure the endings of the LSU and UNC games last year, he would have blown a gasket. Hell, you could tell some of the PI's were intentional yesterday because the DB's knew it would be a TD or a longer gain than the penalty would give us and he still acted worse than a two year old who doesn't get the toy they want at Wal-Mart. On top of this, they have an OC who can't stand up most of the game because he is too fat to hold himself up that long.

Glad this needed its own thread and could have not been put into the other Muschamp threads.

Same people whining about this are the same people that wold be beating their chest and saying that he is just showing passion if he were at TN. It is not different that those who loved Kiffin's antics at TN, but instantly hated them and cried about it when he left.

What would you have done?

#1 Stay and eat crow

#2 Take a higher paying NFL front office job probably with performance bonu$e$

... I know what I would have done. U$C would have tossed him like bad disease if he had 3 losing seasons. It's business.

Lane Kiffin wasn't an idiot or anything. I would've taken Muschamp over Kiffin anyday...Muschamp is 1-0 against the Vols. Dooley is 0-2 against the Gators. Kiffin was 0-1. We lost. It hurts. It sucks. And it's getting old. Dooley was hired as our head coach even though he had a losing record. I think Chizik was too, but he has a national championship under his belt now. Dooley might carry himself well, but what does that matter if you lose or can't win the big games? The rest of this season will prove whether or not Dooley can do this or not. The loss of one player shouldn't cost the team a season. So far, Muschamp is proving he wasn't a bad hire.
