I was a huge doubter of you being the next HC at UT but you have truly impressed me this past month with your dedication and energy to restoring UT at the top of college football

I can only Thank You now but you really have proven me wrong so far.Hope im right.

Woah, slow down there cowboy! Coach Kiffin has not "restored" anything except excitement among the Orange Nation. Now I will certainly give him credit for doing that and I like what I am seeing from him in terms of his aggressive recruiting and getting good coaches in position to put a good team on the field. Aside from that, nothing has changed. As far as I'm concerned, we are still a fledgling program that's reeling from a 5-7 season.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited as the next Vol fan but I want to see it on the field.

Something tells me Kiffin doesn't have time to read volnation. Maybe someone will pass it on to him.

Im just happy there arent 5 threads about Fire Fullmer, Kill Crompton and Throw Clawson to the wolves. At least we have something positive to talk about. Negativity was the reoccurring theme on this board for about two years.

I thank him for giving me something new to read. Wins and losses will come. I am just looking for execution, discipline and team unity. We're a sleeping giant.

Most ridiculous article I think I have ever read.

al.com: Sports

From the article:
Since arriving at Tennessee in December, Kiffin has gone on a spending spree that rivals the recent government bailout of Wall Street. He's been hoarding assistant coaches, making unprofessional comments about other schools, and, in the process, is well on his way to becoming public enemy No. 1 in the SEC without having coached a game.

i don't think many head coaches who have been successful in the SEC were ever liked. Respect is earned and Kiffin will have to earn the respect of his peers before he is ever revered.
