Some of these kids like Payton have become some of my all time favorites. They were only here for a short time, but bought into the program and consider themselves VFLs. Kids like Payton, Velus, Hooker, and yes even Milton who all reports indicate does really love it here. That is a credit to Coach Heupel and the leadership he has brought to the program.

Former Tennessee receiver JaVonta Payton signed to play for the Orlando Guardians in the XFL this spring.

Hopefully he does well in the XFL. Between that salary and the money he made as an NFL practice squad guy he should have a really solid financial foundation if he invests wisely.
