It would be nice to see some "Orange Blood" on the staff. I'm sure CJP will get the best he can with that 5mil budget for assistants.

Wheres the blue font? Are you guys serious? You do know he could've hired somone we could at the very least all get behind as OUR guy after allll these years of settling for less but he hired a born and raised life-long bama guy lol. Kiffin is more qualified and more endeared to the majority of this fanbase than Pruitt and ofc he didn't want to try for Gruden and Leach was a done deal but "wasn't a good fit" but Bammer guy is.. lol what a joke. Tee Martin waves with his '98 ring. Hell I would've been more excited about Jason Witten and he was ready too, but instead..bama guy..thanks Phil... sing it with me.. "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama...except.for.our.head coach"

My brother, calm down, Pruitt is from Rainsville, near Ft. Payne, in far NE Alabama, so not so very far from TN. Then he went to college in ... Tennessee, at MTSU. Sure he has coached a couple stints at Bama (where your Kiffin also coached, eh?) but also at Clemson or FSU or whatever, and looks like he is starting to bring in staff that are connected to various strong recruiting bases in the South. I think we just might be OK.

Completely agree. Mark my words, this will be a better hire than what most people think.

Considering the full on barnstorm of a week that lead to this hire, I'm pretty pleased at the result.

No predictions but I feel good about this guy.

They never left.. Currie was the fall guy Phil was the calming face. The underlying problems are still there.

Weird you used the word calming, I was just thinking how when I watched CPF at the podium a calmness that he exuded, that he would make everything ok.
