Agree 100%!!!! I have stated this numerous times on this post and elsewhere!! Really the Chancellor back when Fulmer was fired deserves the blame for not at least offering the AD job to Fulmer and firing Hamilton.

Also, we can't forget the Haslams in all this mess!! They are about as sorry managing government as they are in influencing Tennessee football!

Currie YOU BETTER GET THIS RIGHT AND DO IT FAST BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! The clock is ticking. Tell Haslam because he is responsible for the mess we are in he should pony up some big bucks and apologize to the fan base or we don't want you as a booster! Need some backbone in the AD. Sadly, don't think it is there. We will see!!!

I also give honorable mention to Phil Fulmer for the misses on all those 4 and 5 star recruits that led to the misery.

but I am over that.....I just want Curie to do what is Best for Tennessee. I hope Curie and the Powers are ready to win. I hope they are ready to spend big bucks.......and make NO compromise's.

You are absolutely right. Also consider the major injuries that led him to being in the jamb he was in at that point. Mike Hamilton was not supporting him, but rather going behind his back and gathering support from Peterman and Haslams, along with Jimmy the Cheek (Chancellor) to get rid of Fulmer. Yes, 08 was a terrible year, but look at the good years we had previously. Injuries, with a lack of depth at key positions did Fulmer in (along with losing to BAMA, but who didn't lose to BAMA in 08???).

I actually put more blame on Bama Dave Hart. Yes, Hammy was a buffoon, but Bama Dave Hart was a Bammer with ill intent to destroy our program!

While I agree with what you said, I just can’t see anyone telling a Haslam to “pony up” because he is responsible for the mess we are in. Lol
