Honestly Rex, what else would they use. Texas starts with a T just like Tenn.
The two T letters are, in font, very different.
It's like Alabammer saying that Arkansas is copying thier A.
According to the professor, Tennessee took Texas to court because Texas had begun using the interlocking UT. During the course of that trial, Texas offered to pay off Tennessee for exclusive rights to the interlocking version. Tennessee obliged and has not used the interlocking UT since. I think if you look at anything Tennessee has put out in recent years, you will not see the interlocking UT.
