Baylor won the battle of statistics (31 first downs to 20 and 507 yards to 418) but LSU one the battle of the scoreboard. A 41 yard pick six that glanced off the hands of the Baylor RB (he should have caught the ball) and a 95 yard kickoff return was the difference in the score. Aranda went for it 6 times on 4th down when he should have taken the 3 points each time.
